Why Getting Rid of Things Can Feel Like Admitting Something
There is a blender sitting on top of my fridge.
Longer thoughts, short articles, ideas that grew out of videos, things rescued from other projects, and whatever else seemed worth putting somewhere.

Not everything needs to become a video.
And not everything needs to become a book.
Sometimes I have a thought that is too long for a caption, too short for anything particularly grand, or simply doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else.
So this is where those things go.
Work, family, fitness, kitchens, money, changing direction, writing — and whatever else I happen to be thinking about at the time.

Kitchens are very good at rewarding usefulness. During a busy service nobody particularly cares about your inner journey; they care that table twelve is waiting, something is running low, a delivery has arrived wrong, somebody has called in sick and the printer has apparently decided that now would be a lovely time to produce eighteen tickets at once. You deal with the problem, then the next one, then whatever catches fire after that.

There’s no fixed schedule here.
I’ll add new pieces when I’ve got something worth saying, rather than publishing just to keep a calendar happy.
That might mean a few pieces some months and none in others.
I’d rather post something useful occasionally than force out something forgettable every Tuesday.
